Membership Benefits
Make the most of your membership and get involved! Your willingness to get involved plays an important role in maintaining programs and projects that will benefit young children. Membership in Alaska AEYC also includes membership in NAEYC and Alaska AEYC.

ALASKA AEYC - The Local Level
As a member of your local affiliate you will receive reduced conference fees at the annual or semi- annual conference. You will be invited to participate in events throughout the year that celebrate early childhood and the hard work that each of you does.

ALASKA AEYC – The State Level
You will automatically become a member of the Alaska AEYC when you join your local affiliate.
Alaska AEYC is committed to advocating at the State and Federal level to increase Professional Development Opportunities, provide for Adequate Compensation among the Early Care and Education (ECE) work force, and to educate it’s membership and the public about the importance of a quality ECE system. Alaska AEYC will provide training and technical assistance to the local affiliates, training on items of interest to membership, act as a resource to its members on ECE issues

NAEYC - The National Level
You receive the benefits of membership in Alaska AEYC and Alaska AEYC, plus

For a Limited Time
If you are a member of Alaska AEYC, you receive a free membership to the Alaska Child Care Registry. This is a $25 value for new
registry applications, and a $15 value for renewals!
The Alaska Child Care Registry is Alaska's recognition system for early
childhood educators. The registry provides the vital link between various
aspects of the Professional Development system within Alaska. By
establishing credentialing standards, the Registry has the capacity of
evaluating each child care professional's unique training background to
demonstrate their individual qualifications essential to quality child care.
The awarded certificate of acheivement will assist the employee in conveying
a professional image that reflects their dedication to the Early Education
field.
To become a part of the registry for free, you must first become a member of
NAEYC/Alaska AEYC/Local affiliate, then contact the Alaska SEED Registry.
